1. About Aecos

Aecos is a practice management platform for architecture and design firms. It helps studios manage projects, staff, invoices, bank accounts, and financial reporting in one place.

Aecos is owned and operated by Eufinger Studio LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Aecos, you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Aecos platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
• You are using Aecos on behalf of a business entity and have authority to bind that entity.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

3. Use of the Service

You may use Aecos solely for your firm's internal business operations. You agree not to:

• Share access credentials with unauthorized individuals outside your firm.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform.
• Use Aecos to store or process data that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Aecos connects to third-party services such as payment processors, banking-data providers, and calendar providers. By authorizing these connections, you grant Aecos permission to read and display the relevant data on your behalf.

• We access only the data scopes you authorize during the OAuth flow.
• We do not sell or share your financial data with any third parties.
• You may revoke access at any time from within Aecos or directly from the third-party service.

5. Data & Privacy

We take the privacy of your firm's data seriously.

What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, firm name, role.
• Financial data — invoices, bank accounts, and transactions imported from connected integrations, stored only to power your dashboard.
• Usage data — pages visited and actions taken, used solely to improve the product.

How we use your data

• To operate and display your Aecos dashboard.
• To sync data from connected integrations on your behalf.
• To send product and security notifications (you may opt out of non-essential emails).

How we protect your data

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
• OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
• We do not store payment card data.

Data retention & deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within Aecos is the property of Eufinger Studio LLC. Your firm's data remains yours at all times. We claim no ownership over your projects, invoices, or financial records.

7. Limitation of Liability

Aecos is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eufinger Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Aecos after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
